Yesterday was a very relaxing day. We slept in and then went for a late breakfast at our usual smoothie place. Bruce was feeling a bit nauseous from the malaria pill because he took it on an empty stomach. So we laid low for a little while, went for a swim and did some chatting. Pretty uneventful. =)
Today we woke up early, got breakfast, picked up our laundry, went swimming and then drove up the mountain to grab lunch at a "Peak's Eye View" restaurant we had spotted a couple days ago. The view was incredible!! God's art is amazing!! We finished up lunch and headed back down the thrilling road (this was one of the main reasons we ate up there, the road is so much fun to take with it's steepness, curves, and little trafic). Tonight we had a real Thai favorite........some golden arches deliciousness lol. We booked a trip for tomorrow to the Angthong National Marine Park islands where we will get to do some sightseeing, snorkeling and best of all.......ride elephants!! I'm so excited! Well it's morning for you all back home so have a great day...... we are out for the night!
P.S. I have to mention that yesterday Bruce killed two huge bugs in our room. =)They were huge and gross and I was so terrified I jumped on the bed and bruce had to remind me the fan was right above me head lol that could have ended badly. Anyways thank goodness he has to guts to squish them or I don't think I would get a wink of sleep. We also have seen a lizard running around on our walls but I much prefer them =) they are so cute
Lizards and cute do not belong it the same sentence together.
